Portraits

This collection is, without a doubt, one of the artist's favorites. Using the "Frottage" technique, some works are based on digital prints of photographs he took himself, while others are created on large format blank paper, inspired by the walls of his childhood home. As he experimented with these processes, beings began to materialize, initially perceived as pareidolia, only to later transform into portraits of entities that represent specific moments of his life or simply worlds of his imagination. The main materials he employs are colored wax, digital print, and acrylic.

Crayola

This collection experiments with the use of materials found in any home, such as wax crayons, pens, colored pencils, and imagination. These drawings, narrated with imagination, are captured in a notebook brought back from a trip to "Convene NY" in 2016. The drawings represent thoughts, scenes, and feelings that I see daily, and it takes a couple of years to form an image that complements the drawing.

Black and red

"Black and Red" forcefully symbolizes the use of the binary in its purest form. In this series, for the first time, a key element emerges: a squared letter "A," which carries a specific connotation, alluding to an inner cry from the artist. These pieces gain such relevance that the artist decides to immortalize them by tattooing them on his right arm, as an act of deep commitment to his work, his collection, and his firmest beliefs: the certainty that we only have one life and that, for this reason, it is essential to value and live it intensely.

CMYK XXI

This collection represents one of the artist's most emotive projects, born from a period of profound sadness and depression. In an act of introspection and self-control, the artist transformed his emotions into a work of art, experimenting with everyday materials such as crayons, pens, colored pencils, and imagination. His goal was to paint color into dark moments, bringing hope and light through the creative act.

Of chili and mole

"De Chile, mole y pozole" is a common expression in Mexico that symbolizes variety and abundance. The artist uses it to give special prominence to works that emerged from creative experiments but did not become part of a larger collection. Thus, these unique pieces remain intact, celebrating their singularity and the value of the experimental process as an integral part of the artistic journey.
