Masks

This collection of masks, along with other series, is based on the visual play with pareidolia, where abstraction is inspired by African passport masks. Each piece invites the viewer to explore perception and discover hidden shapes on the surface, encouraging an interaction between the abstract and the recognizable.

These works represent an initial step in the process of self-discovery, reflecting how shapes and symbols can be both cultural codes and universal expressions. They invite contemplation of the diversity of identity and connection with ancestral roots through a contemporary visual language.
