Black

The "Black" collection represents the initial sketches that would later evolve into the "Black and Red" series. In many of these works, the series begins with distinct contours outlined in black ink, establishing a monochromatic aesthetic where each stroke takes on a particular meaning and force. Although it was one of the artist's most prolific collections, only those pieces with profound meaning and strong emotional resonance were selected for the final exhibition. Each work in this series reflects the preliminary process and the gestation of ideas that give rise to his visual universe, inviting reflection on the genesis of art and the importance of form in its most essential state.
